Vegan Life. 

So,

Lets talk about it, yes I’m vegan.

If your not sure what that means, i only eat plants. Pure herbivore.

10 months ago I watched ‘Black Fish’ –  (Netflix) it’s a documentary about the Orca Whales in sea world and how they’re not really treated with the respect they deserve. I’m not going too far into it because I’m no shouty vegan but it made me die inside watching that.

Yes, I hear you. No the normal human diet includes Orca whales but what I saw in the documentary was my tipping point.

I’d been trying to go veggie for a while but chicken.

HOW HAS IT BENEFITED YOU?

Well, In turning vegan I’ve dropped from 71kg (11 Stone) to 57kg (9 Stone). Now lets just get this out the way, weight had nothing to do with it.

I was stuck in a vicious cycle of eating conveniently and that doesn’t always come along with healthy. I had no energy, not confidence and didn’t really think any further than my plate.  Now I’m not like most vegans, I’ve never watched Cowspiracy or Earthlings, because to honest with you I don’t want to see what happens to animals in the meat and dairy industry. I’ll just avoid it thanks. But taking these things out of my diet for me made me loose weight.

I wanted to make a change in my life and eating animal products made me feel bad. I will always stand by the rules, I don’t care about what other people do. You guys do you and if that means you eat meat, SO WHAT! I respect anyones decision, because if you feel like you can eat animals then go for it! it’s just not for me.

This is a typical example of my plant food, but I wanted to share it because it’s awesome!

What do you need to make this?

  • M&S – Whole Grain
  • Tesco – Spinach
  • A Microwave
  • A bowl
  • A Spoon
  • A hungry tummy

Chuck your whole grains in the microwave, throw some clean spinach on top and tuck in!

This is simple delicious and friendly to you and the animals!

This isn’t just for vegans guys! If your just pursuing a healthy lifestyle this an awesome meal that you can make in seconds! Add falafel, avocado or whatever you want to make it extra yum!
